Is the initial site inspection and report free?
Yes. Ahalya Investment provides free diagnostic inspections and cost estimations anywhere in Muscat and surrounding governorates. For remote interior governorates (e.g., Dhofar, Musandam), a nominal mobilization fee may apply, which is fully offset against the final project value once contracted.
How do you trace hidden leaks inside walls?
We employ non-destructive inspection methods, including infrared thermal imaging cameras (flir systems), electronic moisture probes, acoustic sensor testing, and tracer gas diagnostics to map internal moisture channels without breaking plaster or tiles.
Technical & Materials
What brand of chemicals and waterproofing sheets do you use?
We source only from industry-certified global manufacturers. Our standard product lines include systems from Fosroc, BASF (MasterBuilders), Sika, Grace (GCP), and Henkel (Polybit). All material sheets are accompanied by manufacturer test certificates and compliance datasheets.
How do you waterproof during the hot Oman summers?
Oman's extreme heat (exceeding 45°C) requires specialized handling. We schedule concrete priming and liquid coating applications during cooler early morning or late evening hours. We add retarders to cementitious slurs, shield surfaces from direct sun using shade netting, and cure surfaces strictly to manufacturer-specified temperature parameters.
Contracts & Warranties
What does the 10-year waterproofing warranty cover?
Our 10-year warranty is a legally binding contract. It covers full rectifications (materials, labor, and diagnostics) if any moisture penetration occurs in the waterproofed zone due to material failure or workmanship errors. Normal structural shifting or earthquake damage is excluded.
Are you registered with Omani ministries?
Yes, Ahalya Investment LLC is a fully registered Omani entity (CR registered). We are approved vendors for Muscat Municipality, the Ministry of Housing & Urban Planning, Ministry of Health, and various governmental building departments.
